Canadian Centennial 10/22

Post by 67stingray »

I picked up a 1967 checkered fingergroove Canadian Centennial 10/22, it came with the box that someone had put a couple of strip of packing tape on it. The Gun itself is in excellent condition, appears to be in new condition wished I looked that good after 52 years!

That is a great package!! The fingergroove stock is my favorite Ruger stock. Really like the Canadian Centennial rifles. Great score.

Thanks guys, got a pretty good price on it, with the cost of the checkered fingergrooves the Canadian is the lowest price option.

I will trade you a Tim Hortons card, a bowl of poutine, a big jug of Quebec maple syrup, a whole loin of Canadian bacon, a genuine Toronto Maple Leafs puck with teethmarks from the fan it beaned, a set of Robertson drivers, tickets to the Canadian Ballet and 2 sacks of marbles. Seem like a fair offer? Seriously that is a beautiful 10/22

Outstanding score! Gun looks mint and pretty. Tape or no tape, the box certainly rounds out the package.

Carl, you almost had me until you mentioned the Ballet, my doctor said I had to lay off going to those types of events. It's an addiction you know. I'm thinking of putting together a display of commorative Rugers.

Very nice find! I have a pair of Canadians, checkered and non-checkered. I just picked up a Finger groove D gun. I think I will display them in July at the OGCA show. This is my favorite stock.
