I added a set of Ajax 31 grips to my Wrangler and they fit really good, blends with the silver Cerakote. They came on the engraved 1964 SC6 and I put original grips on it so the Ajaxs were just sitting there.

Re: Ruger Wrangler
Thanks guys, shot it some more yesterday and decided going to have to paint the front edge of the front sight blade, it's very thin and the color really blends in with the sight picture. It shoots really good and is very tight and the loading gate is loosening up, if you haven't already gotton one I highly advise you do so, it's a lot of gun for the price.

As my one buddy used to say.... "That there is right purty!" Bennett you have a winner with the way you fancified your Wrangler.
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

Re: Ruger Wrangler
Sounds like they should make a triple matching set.
I don't know if the fine line would be crossed but I suspect the could have the same serial no, finishes are different models.

Re: Ruger Wrangler
I believe it was made to compete with rr model economy line I had one for a few weeks, even bought a 22 mag cyclinder for it and with a little fitting ran 12 rnds through it fine , than I red an article stating that barrel is only cut to the long rifel size and that the fauling from jackeded bullet will cause issues , so boys and girls don't put a 22 mag cyclinder in this revolver I know everyone wants to but it is only intended to be a plinker very good for Yong starters.
It is only intended for economy line.

They're ugly and look cheap.
How long until Ruger introduces a plastic framed single-action?

Re: Ruger Wrangler
I think you miss the point that some guns are meant to be used and possibly slightly abused. Have mine strapped to my trapping pack to dispatch the various critters I catch. It is constantly being hit by traps, stakes, chain and miscellaneous other equipment and I've accidently dropped in a muddy creek a time or two. Yes, I could use my vintage single six, but I know it would not hold up as well as this wrangler has and besides I really don't spend much time looking at it either. I am really surprised on how well the coating is holding up. For 200 bucks I get to support my favorite gun manufacturer and have a gun well suited to the need....milgunsguy wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 2:00 pmThey're ugly and look cheap.gunman42782 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 2:10 pm https://ruger.com/products/wrangler/mod ... pwBlApz0sY and
Looks like Ruger is going after the Heritage market. Looks pretty cheap to me. Bill is rolling over in his grave!
