Ruger Share Holders Meeting
I got this this morning from Lee Newton. He is attending the annual stock holders meeting. Look for a report in the ROCS Summer Report.

Re: Ruger Share Holders Meeting
Dont forget how the 2018 meeting closed,,,,with a video and announcement of how Ruger will continue to strive to present arms for Americans etc. Would not be pushed by investment groups such as, Sister Judith Byron, the director and coordinator of the Northwest Coalition for Responsible Investment, who yields considerable influence over her investment group and BlackRock who appear to have similar ideas when it comes to gun manufacturers and retailers (both holders of Sturm Ruger). Following the killing of 17 students and teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, funds like BlackRock started asking gun manufacturers what they are doing to reduce the risks of gun violence, and asking retailers how much they make from selling guns. They can use their wallet and sell the shares or they can pressure the companies and threaten to sell the shares if actions aren't taken, there have been changes: Dick's quit selling entirely, Walmart no longer sells black guns,, Kroger and L. L. Bean have all said they will no longer sell guns to shoppers under the age of 21. They only big saving grace to marketing this year was the striking down of the magazine ban in Cali. Correct me if I'm wrong, Ruger was punching out Semi-Auto Black guns in new configurations at a rate as fast the SR1911 and that has ground to a stop after the 2018 meeting.
