Well,
I checked out the R.W. Grip Frames link that JUSSBAD posted and gave them a call.
R.W. stands for Ronnie Wells and I got him on the phone. He's a self proclaimed big ol'
Texas Cowboy and has fabricating & machining as long as he can remember.
Set aside a good bit of time if you give him a call :)
Anyway, I ordered an OM XR3 brass frame and it arrived this week. It looks very nicely
made to me! He even machined my name in it under the grip panels, said he wanted to
impress me with my first order. So far so good.
Some pics for all to see.
Not sure which gun will get this, but will post pics when I decide.

Cheers,
JAY

OM,
Ya, I was impressed....bolted right up to the Flat Top 357 and Single-Six I tried it out on!!!!

Ironhawk.......check out the link to the site, MANY more frames, no steel that I saw & I THINK
all are $350 plus $10 shipping.

SO........I need to polish this. HELP!!!
I have no idea where to start......
Please advise.

Cheers,
JAY

Jay, I would go with Dremel polishing wheels and polishing cones with Brasso(?) and then follow up with a good wax to preserve the shine. Then as the wax wears off from handling/shooting I would think a patina would start and if you're not happy with the look you can repolish/wax as needed. Just depends on what kind of a look you want, showing it off or not worried.
