Alexander M. Sturm

Post by d findley »

After WWII Sturm sold illustrations/drawings to The Saturday Review of Literature magazine. This is from May 1947.

I've been organizing my papers during the virus stay-in. Came across this photo from Rick Verzal. I probably have enough Sturm material for a nice book.

I'd like to know more about Sturm. Would be nice if a Sturm centennial MKIV could be offered 2023 to go with the WBR centennial MKIV

I am looking for a means to publish a high quality book on Alexander Sturm, family, & associates that is affordable. The more books you print the lower the price. A good part of the cost is for the (graphic) design work, from $50 to $75 per hour. That cost is the same if you print 1,000 or 50. I need to get the cost where it will sell at the same time not print more than I can sell. My goal is to break even. Either way, I'm working on it!

I just picked up the first "proof/draft". This book may not be for everyone. It is for history buffs. I haven't been given my costs yet or a printing date. This is a copy for me to check for mistakes. Do you see a BAD mistake? I'll keep interested parties informed.
