SKEETER'S SUPER SINGLE-SIX

Post by flattop44 »

While my "Skeeter Skelton" Ruger is nothing like Bob Wright's friend's Bisly, its still a keeper. Skeeter mentioned that he carried this Ruger stainless Single-Six in the tool box in the bed of his truck. It was a "working gun" and accounted for small game for the cooking pot when camping or hunting. I like the fact that he really used this one!

Bill you have a dandy one there. Skeeter Skelton was a great gun writer and the real deal. His son Bart is also a good writer. You can shoot that one and Skeeter will highly approve

Outstanding!

I remember when Sally was selling off Skeeter's guns. I was so broke, I couldn't have afforded the stamp to mail a letter then. But I've ALWAYS wanted a Skeeter gun,, and especially a Ruger of some sort that he actually used.

Color me jealous!

You have some of the neatest stuff. You should post a gun a week for show/tell. I know I would like to see some other stuff out of the dungeon. ;)
