If you wanted to purchase a new Ruger .22 pistol in 1949 all you had to do was to fill this out and send it in along with $37.50. A couple of questions are on this form that would not be politically correct to ask now.

Those were the days! I wonder how many purchased like that are lurking in drawers or trunks waiting to be discovered 70 years later?
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

All Ruger needed to do was add a line of how many resides at this address and they could have contributed to the Census.
