Thanks Steve and Don, there were some fine displays at the show! Thanks for posting them. Hank is going to get some more pictures together and we will post in the "EXHIBITS" forum probably next week.

Also want to mention, the display descriptions of the Tulsa Displays have been posted in the EXHIBITS area too, check 'em out.

Great display's, congratulations to all. That panoramic view of Hank's Vaquero's is really neat.

X1RUGER, Thanks for your interest. First I must say THANKS to ROCS and Hank & Susie for the great show. It really is something to look forward to. Lots of nice displays there - I would be glad to comment about mine. The first one titled "Two of a Kind" has the Ruger No.1-S 7 m.m Mag serial number 130-00900. I used this rifle for 10 years before retiring it to the back of the safe. It is a "10" by the scale in the Ruger No.1 book as stated in a letter from Joe Clayton. The other rifle is a No.3 in 45-70 serial number 130-50900 - the same number as the No.1 as the No.3's started at 130-50000. They are both single shots with the same number - Two of a Kind. Quite the pair since I found them both in Boise 13 years apart!

The other display titled "Made for Orvis" is an O\U Ruger Shotgun with 26" barrels and screw in chokes - the only one known so far with this combination, an RL2029. It is marked Made For Orvis on the bottom of the receiver. You can see better pics on this forum under Shotguns.

The display received a Second Place from Lewis & Clark Trader at the show - I'm very fortunate and humble to receive such an award considering the competition!

I had another display called "Flat Bolt Beginning to End" that can be seen under another topic on this forum - last Bosie (sic) pics. It features serial number 71 on the left in 243 with no bolt guide shipped in 1968 and a 220 Swift with a steel floor plate shipped in 1974. In between of note are a 6.5 Rem Mag, an RS 30-06, an RS 243 and a 243 with no checkering.

I had a great time showing and did pretty well on the trade table as well. Two displayers were first timers - Marlin and Joel. Good to see some new blood! The Vaquero display. the Old Army display, the White Box Supers, the Double Action's and the Memorabilia displays were superb!
