Re: Red Eagle Grips
A rare set folks! That is the two piece medallion with enameled eagle. Only used from about serial number 3200 to 9400 (for the variety with that medallion without escutcheons).
There are a lot of guns out there that have had that two-piece medallion bust off from the stem, and voila... no medallion.

Re: Red Eagle Grips
I’ll bet I can put these to good use on the right gun. PM coming, Don.
Chad, not sure if you recall the brass red eagle grips I bought from Don a year or so ago. You had commented on the rarity when Don posted them. Do you know what range red eagle those would have been on?

9327 is the highest I've seen with the two-piece medallion.06dilly wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 2:04 pm I’ll bet I can put these to good use on the right gun. PM coming, Don.

The one piece medallions begin sometime just before that.
