Gold leaf problem

Post by Fox Mike »

I was cleaning my various Bearcats and when I got to my ROCS model I notices that the gold leaf appears to be 'dissolving' for lack of a better expletive. Wonder if anyone else has seen this?

I could understand if it was shot or handled a lot but this particular revolver isn't handled or used; it just sits in a display case.

Baron did the work. I'll give them a call or email w/photo and see what their take on it is. I posted originally to see if anyone else has seen the same deteriorating.

Frank, Just checked my ROCS Bearcat and the gold on mine is fine, no degradation that I can see.

Thanks Ron. You are the only ROCS Bearcat owner I have heard from.
