Finally got to the range to sight in the rifle/scope. That is a great scope but it mounts too far forward on this rifle to be comfortable and the duplex reticle covered the large diamond bullseye at 100 yds (the small diamond is 1"x1". I was a little rushed that day but the last five are shown using S&P 50 gr jacketed. I have a VX-2, 3-9 x 33 EFR Rimfire scope coming for a better test. But it may be just a fine open sights rifle in the end.
