No. 1's sighted.

Post by bruce »

Found two No. 1's yesterday afternoon ... No sights, etc. Just plain No. 1's w/ walnut stocks and brown (?) not red recoil pads. Not Alexander Henry style. One is .270 Win. and the other is .338 Mag. Neither rifle shows any wear. Price for either is $1,395. Are these normal prices? Here I am with no money staring at two No. 1's! Don't know how I can do anything. I do wonder ... .270 Win. or .338 Win.? Should have stayed home yesterday! Then I'd never have known they were in the gunshop rack! Sincerely. bruce.

Both of the rifles mentioned are No. 1-B. I hope possible to work out something really good on the .270 1-B. I've got lots of experience w/ reloading for the .30-06 so I figure I can just neck down some brass, buy some bullets and start loading for the range. All I'd have to do is buy a decent scope. Sincerely. bruce.
