The Catalog numbers are interesting.
I had never seen or heard of these before.

I have an original of this same ad, framed and often use it in a display of my 10" Flat Tops. i have all original ads from American Rifleman from Sept. 1949 through 1973. Neat ads were used in the 1950s and well into the 1960s. Have you seen the ad for the early .44 carbines showing a mountain gorilla harvested with the .44 carbine? Some pretty controversial stuff!

I seen that ad with the gorilla. Bill caught all kinds of flack over that one. I think even the NRA refused to run it again they got so many complaints.
