Through a series of three trades I ended up with this 1979 1A 7x57 today. It’s got a really nice Weaver t-10 microtrac I’ll probably put it on my 1BH 30-06 and find me a nice Weaver v4.5 or maybe a v7 for this guy. Didn’t need another 7 Mauser but the deals were just far too good to pass up.
Nothing special or rare about it, but really who doesn’t like looking at another no.1?

That's a nice buck. The NO1 7x57 did it's job. Looking forward to seeing what your 1A will do next year.

What load do you use in your # 1 7x57 ?
My # 1-A shoots extremely well with the factory Federal 175 gr softnose .

Re: Today’s acquisition
I haven’t worked up a load for this rifle yet. I have a load for my RSI with 140 Nosler ballistic tip and IMR 4350 but have also found both shoot well with factory 140gr Sellier and Beloit.
