Metal Ruger Flag wall art

Post by twriggen »

I finally got around to putting up my Metal Ruger Flag on the wall in my office. For those that know me can read that to say Taryn finally hung it on the wall. I'm very happy with how these turned out. This is 17 pounds of layered metal pieces. Taryn had to get creative to mount it where I wanted it on the wall to ensure it didn't fall.

Ron, do you have a picture of yours hung yet? There were only had three of these produced and the last one will be auctioned off in Tulsa this year at the banquet.

Beautifully made, I also like the way mounting has it standout from the wall.

Troy, I can confirm that your flag is an item of beauty! I handled the flag that Ron won at last year's OGCA show and it was actually quite heavy for a wall hanging! The multi layers give it a 3-D appearance. Well made and a very nice auction item.

Troy,
The flag will be flying (well, hung) on my display at the NRA Show. It will be between the two vertical panels that the guns are on. Already tried it and although it is heavy, it hangs good and I have no fear that it will cause any problems.

Here's a picture of the display when I set it up at home to work on the layout. I'll have more room at the NRA to make it look better since my tables are only 6 foot.

That will make two shows it will be in. I had both of them in my glass display case last year.
