Ruger PLAYING CARDS and POKER CHIPS

Post by Michaeletimm@aol.com »

COLLECTOR ITEM: STURM RUGER & CO., INC. LEATHER CASE WITH PLAYING CARDS and POKER CHIPS A rare find! In 1990, firearm company Sturm Ruger & Co. designed and issued a gift set to select employees and distributors. It has been published that only 50 sets were issued. I received this gift from Sturm Ruger as their Northwest Regional Sales Manager at the time. There are 300 poker chips, 4 decks of cards, 2 keys, leather case that locks and a business card from Aces Casino Equipment. The chips and cards have never been used, and the cards still have the plastic wrapping. The poker chips have nice colors and unique design with the RUGER logo.
The case and chips have never been used and are in vintage condition. All of the playing cards and chips are present and included. The 300 clay poker chips weigh approximately 14 grams each with a value and quantity breakdown as follows: 50 cents - 50 each, $1.00 - 100 each, $5.00 - 100 each, $25.00 - 50 each. There are 4 complete sets of playing cards still in original unopened boxes. This is a very heavy set. The case, chips and cards together weigh 9.6 pounds. The case dimensions are: 15.5 inches x 9.25 inches x 3.25 inches.

Asking $2,000 plus shipping

Michael, you don’t seem to have followed through on your Mark II magazines. Not sure anyone here would trust you on this one. Reputation is everything on these collector group forums.

Tom, Agreed.
RR posted he wanted them.
Those mags ended up on ebay at a 2nd hand shop in Texas........???

Says he was a NW regional rep for Ruger. Perhaps RPM can confirm?
I do not "own" these guns, I am but the next caretaker

I did not sell them on EBay. Your information is not correct. I received a pm for someone on this forum who bought them. I was the NW Region Sales Manager for Ruger. I enclosed my business card for reference.

Some are questioning whether or not I was an employee of SRCO. Those of you know will recognize this.
