Is there a Ruger display show in Texas this year?

Well, not yet. The new Show Chairman of the Dallas Arms Collectors called me this week and asked if we( the Ruger Owners & collectors society) would have an interest in participating in a display. To call names, we have had some degree of difficulty getting anyone other than Findley, myself, Tom Hutton and Buddy Bailey to display. San Angelo Tim has come a few times.We need more displayers to make a decent effort of this. Anyone reading this close enough to Dallas who would want to try??

In the past, DACA has given a $500 check to the best Ruger display. San Angelo Tim has taken that several times. I'm up for it if the interest is there.

September 24 & 25, 2016 are the show dates. In the past we were able to talk Dallas show officials to give free display tables. If you didn't tear down before 3 PM Sunday, you would receive a refund on your display table. At that time Billy Carter, old time Ruger Collector, was President of DACA. I don't know how these new officials will treat displayers.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping it would be a summer show. Plan to vacation in Texas this summer.
