Greetings ROCS,
I am looking for help.
I have a chance at a Security-Six (blued), but it has a 4" barrel, I would need a 4.2" barrel minimum to make it legal for me in Canada.
Can any of you suggest a solution?
I just want a decent shooter, so getting a longer barrel, and or cutting and re-fitting are options.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Security/Service/Police Six Barrels
Pierre,
You're out of luck with the Six series guns, the 4" models are all 4". Even getting a 6" and cutting it back just wouldn't look right because of the way the barrel is shaped. Canada's 4.2" law is why the GP100's and such are now 4.2" and 4" are no longer made (to satisfy the Canada law and it doesn't make economic sense to make it in both 4 and 4.2).
I would look for a 6" Security Six, they're pretty plentiful it seems.
Does Canada not have any grandfather laws for guns made before the 4.2" law went into effect?
Good luck on the hunt, the Sixes are great guns.
