Actually the "Short" frame is the standard frame used on the Supers. Only about 300 earlier guns had the longer frame.

Therefore, logic sez there are only about 300 mahogany cases whose interior cutout fits the longer grip frame.......one needs to pay attention to those empty/gunless cases and know what to look for on the bottom left of the insert....

In my experience there are three different boxes. The long frame box, standard frame box and shall we call it an in between box which will fit a long frame also.
