Well, one of those is serial number "R75-443". I wonder what that is all about.
Looks like acid etch engraving to me as well... not hand cut. For that $ it should be hand cut. Just my opinion.

Now that I look at the pics on Ruger's website, R75-443 seen in the Gunbroker advertisement appears to be the same gun seen in Ruger's website pics. So prototype/concept gun. Still curious why they would go with R75-443. Seems there may be another 75th Anniversary run of another Number 1 of some sort.

well doesn't look like they are selling. one now on gb for 5800, which is still probably more than twice what its worth. when you look at the 50th anniversary of the no1 high grade price a few years back...

I figured out why Ruger is numbering these in the R75-4xx range.

R75-1 is the MKIV 6-7/8"
R75-2 is the SR1911
R75-3 is the first 10,000 10/22's
R75-4 is the Number 1
R75-5 is the next 10,000 of 10/22's
R75-6 more 10/22's
R75-7 more 10/22's

Currently Ruger is numbering the R75-6 series and R75-7 series at the same time, just like regular production 10/22's are being numbered within two different prefixes, currently 0024- and 0025- I believe.
