Ok,,, all done!
I'll let each displayer tell about their display.
I had 2 displays. One was a set of "Ruger Patches, Pins, & Decals." As far as I know,,, I have all the factory issued, publicly available patches, as well as a few special or rare ones. These included a prototype patch, the Fire Brigade patch, and even Bill Ruger's pocket patch/badge. It was his trade show name badge. I also included some of the many counterfeit patches so folks could see the "differences." In the pins,,, I have most of the ones I know of,,, and all of the SHOT Show & NRA show pins. In the decals,,, I have all the known factory decals,,, unless there are/were any prototypes I haven't found yet.
My second display was a tribute to several things. It was titled; "Ruger & Troop 605 Celebrate History."
As a lifelong BSA Scout & Scouter,,, with over 45 years in my original Troop, I wanted to highlight how Ruger recognized the BSA with their 100th anniversary 10/22. In 2010, the BSA celebrated it's 100th birthday. Ruger introduced a special 10/22, with a special laser engraved stock, and a special serial numbering. The guns started with BSA-00001 & went up. Well, my home Troop is number 605. This display had BSA-00605. I also included items from the beginnings of the BSA up to the 100th celebration. I included may items from my Troop, which is currently in it's 69th continuous year. To me it was a celebration of the BSA, and my home Troop, which,,, has only had 3 Scoutmasters in it's 69 year history.
