I don't think Tom had collected for very long, but I was always impressed how such a new guy went full force after his quarry like he did.
Yes, he will be sorely missed.

Very sorry to hear about Tom. He and I clicked, as we both had same type of cancer, plus love of Rugers. I was fortunate to contribute to his collection and displays.. He will be missed... Tom Stelter

Chet Tommygun was a great guy and was very aggressive in his collecting...something we don't see much of anymore for some reason....He would get excited and go head first after it....I will certainly miss him and his enthusiasm....genuinely one of the GOOD GUYS.....

Anyone else remember his first display in Harrisburg ????? I think he had two or three tables of 357 RUGERS all boxed....he was so excited and worried that you couldn't even talk to him....I believe he had a video guy there filming the event too....he was devastated when he was beat buy another first time displayer who only had 4 guns but actually had a very impressive theme to his display....he was almost inconsolable....

I was very happy that Tommy G won the first annual OGCA ROCS show even though he only beat me by a few points....this year I got him back ....he was the first to give me a hearty congratulations that day...I will miss my friend immensely...RR

RR,,, I remember that.
Well put my friend.

I too found Tommy to be a truly nice guy with a serious passion we need here. I helped him get a few things myself,, (not my guns,, other goodies,) and when he won awards,, he was genuinely surprised. But always humble. I really liked seeing the pics of the tribute to him from Tulsa.
