Re: Calling all 10/22 collectors
Wow, another 10/22 collector added to y contact list! Jay I am looking forward to more conversations about what makes 1022's fun to collect. Wishing us both good lock on the new ones we are bidding on.

Nice looking addition to your collection. My new neighbor has one in a blued barrel that I did a tuneup job for and he really likes it. I am working on a couple new additions for my collection so wish me luck. I will keep you posted on the results.

Re: Calling all 10/22 collectors
Just checking in to see if anyone has found anything new or interesting. I am going to the OGCA ROCS show in July and will be displaying a consecutive pair of Kittery Trading Post 50th Anniversary 10/22's that I reunited after being apart for 26 years. What makes this second gun so special is that I found it at the Kittery Trading Post as a used gun. This just happens to be the 30th anniversary of this very rare distributor exclusive with only 100 originally made and then they made 4 more because for the family members of the Kittery Trading Post because the 100 sold out before they even got one. Hope to see you at the show.

No Rod I did not get the 75th anniversary 10/22 they issued. I saw when they issued it but chose not to get it. It had no medallion as I recall but had a laser engraved stock as I recall with a black laminated stock.

Re: Calling all 10/22 collectors
Charlie I have made up a few "custom" 10/22's to suit my needs. They are different barrel and stock combinations with BX triggers. Nothing rare but they suit my needs perfectly.
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...
Re: Calling all 10/22 collectors
Not really a collector of 10/22's (I have 6 that I have built or modified, 3 are for sale and I still have 2 stocks that need to be filled). Here's the latest:
The stock color is Jesse James Civil Defense Blue Cerakote. The receiver is topped with a red/green dot sight and I modified the bolt release to allow it to close by pulling back on the aftermarket oversized bolt handle. The barrel is 16", threaded and the black thing you see at the end of the stock is a combination barrel band, red laser and short picatinny rails on both sides. After I mounted the laser, when I turned on the red dot and the laser they were within 1 inch of each other at 25 yds, how lucky can you get
. I'll use this to demonstrate .22 cal suppressors along with my American rimfire.

Very nice looking rifle, Ron. I also wouldn't call myself a 10/22 collector but I've probably got around 30 of em.
