Bill,
My application, FFL and check went out in the mail to you this morning. I think this one will be in a prominent display with my ROCS Founding Member brassard in the shop. Of course I'll post pictures when the time comes.

Who says I only care about double actions :D

That's a great idea Ron, I may do the same thing. It would look good with the Founders Brassard.

$$ and FFL on the way tomorrow (Thursday). Now all I have to do is convince the 'powers that be' in the MD State Police that this is just a "modified" Bearcat and NOT a new model as such. Wish me luck! 'll be calling the nice lady tomorrow.

Spoke with the lady that is in charge day to day and we worked out that the model number of the ROCS Bearcat shopkeeper AND the regular 'blued' version of the Shopkeeper WILL be added to the 'accepted' roster. She was joy to speak with and more than willing to do whatever is necessary to make things go smoothly. Instead of mailing the 'petition for change' to the State Police she asked that I send it directly to her. She said: "I'll take care of this." The fun part was when I said that I had a problem with a 'model number' she said: "Please tell me it is NOT a Glock!" I laughed and asked her why that statement. She said that the Glock have been giving her nothing but problems for months. When I told her it was a Ruger she seemed a bit relieved.
