Posted: Mon Apr 24, 2017 2:16 pm
Have 5 Ruger Old Model Blackhawks, flat-tops, for sale. All 5 are unconverted (ie they have the original lockwork and have NOT been sent back to Ruger for the safety conversion). Most (4 out of 5) are boxed with papers. 2 of them have factory stags that I added to them. I am not the original owner on any of these, as I have put them into my collection over the last 15 years. They are all as described below:
1) <SPF>Ruger Old Model Blackhawk, flat-top, 357 mag, 8-groove 6.5" barrel. Serial number 32270. The gun is in great condition with very minimal, to no, wear. It has a nice set of walnut grips. It comes with the original box, numbered to the gun, papers, oil wrap and shipper. There is no number on the shipper. Asking $1500, shipped to your FFL or C&R.****SOLD PENDING FUNDS****

2) Ruger Old Model Blackhawk, flat-top, 357 mag, 6-groove 10" barrel, serial number 30871. The gun is in good condition with some minor bluing wear here and there, as shown in pictures. No box or shipper. Asking $2500 shipped to your FFL or C&R.

3) Ruger Old Model Blackhawk, flat-top, 44 mag, 3-digit serial number (521), 6.5" barrel. The gun is in average condition, with bluing wear as shown in pictures. However, it is a 3-digit and is a first month production, Type 1, gun, Manufactured Nov 24, 1956, Shipped Nov 28, 1956, and is listed in the recent ROCS article by Bill Hamm on Type 1 44 Mag Blackhawks. It comes with a non-original to the gun factory box, papers, and oil wrap. Asking $2000, shipped to your FFL or C&R.****SOLD PENDING FUNDS****

4) Ruger Old Model Blackhawk, flat-top, 44 mag, 7.5" barrel, serial number 28172 with original box, papers, oil wrap, and factory stag grips. The gun also comes with its original walnut stocks, as shown in pictures. It is in great condition with really the only flaw being the upper gripframe screw holes showing some of the anodizing being worn, as shown in pictures. Asking $3000, shipped to your FFL or C&R.

5) Ruger Old Model Blackhawk, flat-top, 44 mag, 10" barrel, serial number 20912 with box, papers, Anderol tag, and factory stag grips. The gun also comes with its original walnut stocks, as shown in pictures. It is in good condition with some minor bluing wear as shown in pictures. Asking $5000, shipped to your FFL or C&R.

Reasonable offers considered. Will also consider keeping the stag grips for a $500 discount on the price of the guns shown above with them on.
First "I'll take it" email to me at bigbore45colt @ ptd.net (remove the space in front of and after the @) gets it. Payment by USPS Money Order, cashier's check, or credit card. Please note that credit card purchases lose a 3.5% cash discount. If unsold after a few days, I will take it to auction, where, from the last few auctions for collectible flat-tops showed that there is still some very good demand!
Thanks for looking!
