Hello

I want to request your thoughts, prayers or a note to our friend Carl. His wife has been having some complications with her health and having multiple medical procedures. We all know Carl and many of our members have had there own medical complications. However we would all agree nothing is more challenging or painful than when our loved ones are ill or injured. Its then we realize were mere men/women and need the strength of a higher power, family or fiends to support us through those times.

On August 17th our friend (Watertender) is having surgery to remove a cancerous nodule in his left lung. He has mentioned his fight in previous posts in discussions and posts and prayer requests for OMCrazy and its now time for more prayers TEAM ROCS.

He has been a great friend to me during my short tenure here. I greatly appreciate his witt, humor and knowledge as I know you do as well. I'll let him elaborate as much or as little as he may wish in his eloquent political correctness and humor to keep us informed before his surgery.

Got the all clear from the anesthesia people today for next Thursday. This is my 3rd run at cancer and I am not going to let it beat me. Thanks for the good thoughts and prayers. There are more Rugers to find and shoot as far as I am concerned. Will let you know how I make out after the event. LIBERTY FOREVER alluded to my kinder gentler politically correct side so I will be nice. However during a colonoscopy I asked the doctor if he found any politicians up there.... He laughed and said only 2 non cancerous polyps so I made out good for that procedure.

Having been in your shoes I have an idea of what you are going through. I pray that your outcome is as good as mine was and you will be chasing Rugers again soon. Keep up the good outlook, it helps.

I wanted to send out a reminder that Flattop44 and Watertender had surgery this week.
Watertender sent a message that his surgery went well and the area around the nodule in his lung is negative.
I have no update on Flattop44 but I'm sure with all of you pulling for him he will be back moderating and educating soon.

Hey guys, I made it through my surgery well too. Had to have my left hip replaced. I am now carrying genuine Ruger parts from Pine Tree Casting....made in the good old USA. Now off to PT.tomorrow for.some torture.
