New addition to my collection. The frame is slightly plum in color

, but does not show well in the photo.

WOW! Double friggin WOW! That's about as beautiful a flat top as I ever laid eyes on, and 3 digit's to boot! To say I am a impressed is a understatement!

Lee...I have sent for a letter. It is not on the list of 44s shipped in November, but I will post the information when I receive it from Ruger.

Serial number 233 was shipped in January 1957 as a Blackhawk in .44 Magnum caliber.
