SOLD. Ruger .357 Flattop with 3 digit serial number. Cylinder frame has been re-blued (high polish) but it does not appear that the cylinder or barrel has been re-blued. Was my 7xx gun on my quest to get one in each s/n range... (another story) - has original box, manual and warranty card - just the way I got it. Priced accordingly for a re-blued flattop. $1250 + shipping/insurance to your ffl.

Re: 3 Digit .357 Flattop w/Box...
This is a good looking flat top, but, according to the blue book, they are valued at $1000 if they are 100%.
Re: 3 Digit .357 Flattop w/Box...
The Blue Book does not get down into some of the rarer variations. This is a 3-digit gun with original box and papers. If not reblued it would be somewhere in the $2k range. The box and papers alone are $550-600. This is of course JMHO.

Well, when at the Tulsa Wanamaker show, down on Ruger row, all of the “experts” told me that the 100% grading means that the gun has the box, papers and is all original.
Re: 3 Digit .357 Flattop w/Box...
The Red Eagle News Exchange price list of early 2018 lists a three digit .357 Blackhawk (95-98%) with original box and documents at approximately $2,200. This is the average price a collector would pay. A mint revolver would easily sell for $2,500 to $3,000 or more. The price listed is more than fair.

Maybe the "experts" were trying to buy one.

Good one FT44!
In my experience something is worth what someone is willing to pay........

I do not "own" these guns, I am but the next caretaker

Why do I see over and over, folks quoting prices/info from the RENE? If you want to know this stuff, subscribe. As a member/subscriber to the service that I pay for, do not care for folks passing on free info that many of us pay for. I bet Chad does not like it either.Doc4429 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 7:30 am The Red Eagle News Exchange price list of early 2018 lists a three digit .357 Blackhawk (95-98%) with original box and documents at approximately $2,200. Randy, Doc was simply making a point regarding the value of the 3-digit BKH3. There was no request for a value. I think Chad would be happy that the price guide is being used. JMHO.

Please forgive my rude post re: the RENE, none of my business anyway. Think all Ruger folk should subscribe to the RENE, lots of fun reading.
