FS: Nice Ruger Old Model Blackhawk in 45 Colt. This is a blued, 6-shot, old model single action revolver with a 7.5" barrel. S/N is 45-02286, which puts its DOB around April, 1971. As such, the black medallion grips are correct. Gun is 100% original and has not been converted (ie it has NOT been back to the factory for the safety conversion). Gun appears to have been shot but not very much. Bore is great, timing is good, lock up is good. There really isn't any noticeable bluing wear. Grips are in good condition. There is one ding in the backstrap of the triggerguard, as seen in pictures. With such an early s/n, I don't believe the gun was a convertible and the cylinder is not marked with the last 3 digits of the s/n, indicating it was NOT a convertible but a single cylinder gun. No box or papers, just a really nice old model 45.

Keep in mind that there were less old model 45s than there were 44 flat-tops!!

Asking $825, shipped to your FFL.

Please note that I am not the original owner of this firearm. I do not know the round count. I have not fired it, but only inspected it for condition and mechanical functioning. Three-day NON-FIRING inspection period for description of condition and mechanical functioning only. The firearm cannot be returned if it has been fired.

First "I'll take it" email to me at bigbore45colt @ ptd.net (remove the space in front of and after the @) gets it. Payment by USPS Money Order, cashier's check, or credit card. Please note that credit card purchases lose a 3.5% cash discount. I am going to list this on a few other places, to maximize exposure. If unsold after a few days, I will take it to auction.

Thanks for looking!
