FS: hard to find Ruger old model Single Six in 22 LR with the 4 5/8" barrel. This is an early, XR3 gripframe gun, with s/n 134313, which puts it around early 1959. The gun has been shot but bore is great, timing is good, and lock-up is tight. Has bluing wear from holstering on the barrel, ERH, and cylinder, as seen in pictures. Has a set of aftermarket wood grips with the right panel having been nicely carved with an eagle. The gun has the original lockwork and has not been sent back to Ruger for the safety conversion. No box, papers, or original grips.
Asking $575, shipped to your FFL or C&R, OBO.
First "I'll take it" email to me at bigbore45colt @ ptd.net (remove the space in front of and after the @) gets it. Payment by USPS Money Order, cashier's check, or credit card. Please note that credit card purchases lose a 3.5% cash discount. I am going to list this on a few other places, to maximize exposure. If unsold after a few days, I will take it to auction.
Thanks for looking!
