In RENE Vol. 35 Number 1 - May 2018 - There is a note regarding an Auction that had an early .357 Flattop Box with s/n 67 on the end label along with a shipping sleeve. Also sold at auction is the .44 Flattop Box with 67 on the end. I believe these were won on an Ebay Auction/s. ***Update 5/24 - With the help of 2 upstanding Ruger Collectors both of whom agreed to let go of the boxes they had purchased on the Ebay auctions, both boxes and one split shipper has now been re-united with their original guns. And, by having this posted I have a promising lead on the split top shipper for the .44 Magnum. If that comes to fruition, then they will both be complete packages once again. Not sure how or why these were separated from the guns but it's nice to have the originals back in place. Pictures below of the box ends and shipper. Thanks to this Forum, RENE and the Ruger Forum we have eyes all across the US to help us. Thanks again to the 2 fellows who helped make this happen.

Congratulations on finding the boxes and them being in great condition hopefully you'll be able to get the outer sleeve for the .44.
