Ruger Old Army, blue, serial number 26, (140-00026), and Ruger Old Army Stainless, serial number 26. Both with boxes and shipping sleeves, shipped to Wayne Fleming at Brownells..the blued gun shipped 9/7/72, the stainless would have been 1975.

Mike that is a really sweet brace of Old Army revolvers. I can picture a Cavalry charge with those drawn and the black powder smoke thick in the air.

Mike,
Those are a great addition to your growing collection of 26's. Does the stainless steel gun have the "Upside Down" roll mark on the cylinder?

Nope, the roll mark appears to be "right side up", like the blue one..
