Early Bearcat with "autentic Ruger" Ivory grips

Post by remcclellen »

Just came across a Gunbroker posting for a 15xxx Bearcat. The seller is offering a Bearcat with authentic Ruger ivory grips. He also refers to them as "elephant horn". It is appearsto be a very nice Bearcat with a nice set of after market Stag(?) grips. The post says it is a 60, his description says it is a 70 and the serial number maps to 61.

It is buried under the category Collectable Firearms/Other collectable guns.

I agree with you, aftermarket grips. To my knowledge Ruger never offered ivory or stags for Bearcats. However I do like nice ones on Cats.
