Interesting GB auction ongoing for a nice looking 3 digit Red Eagle, now at $1525 with 8 days to go.

Over $1900 with 5 + Days to go..........See your banker, Stalwarts.........BTW, the Blue Book needs adjustment on this category and serial number range with the aluminum grip screw washers......... :roll:

Yeah... hope it holds that way, then we'll revise the bluebook. Could be a fluke though.
A few years ago there were three 10/22's in .22 Mag. that sold for 3K+ each. Such prices never hold.
I will say that I wish the red eagle would see some price improvement. Just not enough collectors out there... too much supply, not enough demand.
This 3-digit gun is a welcome change.

About a year ago I bid on Gun Broker for a real nice first year Red Eagle that was in the 0140 s/n range. It ended up going for just over $2,800. It was rock solid at around $850 until 15 minutes to go. I baled early and did not win the auction.
