Another Speed Six

I had the winning GB bid on this 1980 Speed Six 2.75" 357 recently. While a common model, it's tight and in pretty nice condition for 40 years old. It handles shooting 357 mag so much better than my SP101 2.25" with the extra 10 ounces and the compact Pachmayr grips. With each range trip it's becoming my favorite revolver. :D

The best of defensive carry guns!
And it will outlast your kids if maintained.
Worth pursuing another!

IMO those Security, Service and Speed Six are some of the best revolvers out there. Congrats on a nice acquisition, enjoy.

Congrats on finding a super nice gun.

They're some of my personal favorites .... probably because my first ever revolver was a blued 4-inch Security Six.

Mine all wear the factory wood grips along with a Tyler T but, I can see how that rubber grip would be mighty handy (no pun intended) if a fella was gonna shoot a steady diet of 357 loads.
