I good friend of mine (the late Frank Clark) engraved and gold inlaid this old Flattop for me in 1984. The carved ivory grips are from another friend K. Dennis Holland.

Very nice looking flattop. How do the grips attach?

Clark did not like to work on aluminum. This is actually a Colt grip frame. I assume they are epoxied?? They have never been off. Good question.

Very nice! The gold and ivory are probably worth more than the gun :D Glued on grip panels? :?

Colt grip frame means/shows 2 pc(see screw at bottom of grip frame) and grips thusly fitted/secured internally . Doubt any "glue" involved........ ;)
