Would seriously question these being Factory Stags; in fact- I would say they are definitely not! Most likely an extra hole in the top strap from that style Phantom mount. Would not want any of our Members to get stuck on this.

AGREE..That said, would want to see the reverse side of each panel. Why? There seems to be an anomaly(spell that depression) on the top front corner of the left panel and unless ground out/flattened, the emblem would not be able to be flush fit to the outer surface. I had a similar set of grips and the owner, who I knew, swore they were Ruger originals. Second, I do not tolerate holes drilled into topstraps............. 8-)

Brother Findley likes them that way; with a hole; but he gets them cheap! That set of stags were really nice old barky ones until they got ruined
