Early mahogany cased Super..

Super Blackhawk serial number 26, shipped to Wayne Fleming of Brownell's, inspected December 18, 1959 and shipped January 20, 1960. Short frame, with mahogany box and shipping sleeve. Appears unfired and absolutely mint!
Pictured on page 280 of John Dougan's Ruger Pistols and Revolvers, the Vintage Years 1949-1973..

Congrats on a "Super" find! I saw the title, and wondered,,, is it #26. Yep,, another one has moved to a warm climate! A great package there!

missing the Single Six, 357 Flattop, Lightweight Single Six, and the 30 carbine, 41 mag, and 45 colt..
the lightweight and 357 FT have never surfaced..
