Sleeping, when did ruger come out with Target Bearcats?

I saw a new raised ear rear sight / target front sight bearcat for sale and didnt realize Ruger did that... When did those come out? and are they going to be a rarity? Thanks, Tom

A couple-three years ago. The first one was awarded to John Taffin.he had been suggesting such a configuration to the execs for several years.
I thought they would surely offer a WRFM version with the new gun, but it hasn't happened yet...

I have one, won it at a gun bash in October 2019. Neat Bearcat. So since I had a "new model" Bearcat, I had to get an "old model" Bearcat - which I did, a 1969 (90-05XXX).
