This one has evaded me for more years then I like to think about! RENE states less then 200 but I have never seen or heard of one.

Vaughn, I agree with Bill. I have never seen one before. This looks like it could qualify for another article in our Digest sometime? Great find and thanks for all you provided for our Digest.

Awesome gun!!!
Saw the regular 44R model, serial number D127766 at the Des Moines gun show last June. There are a few of those around, but first one I've ever seen laying on a dealer's table at this show.

Well V, ya know they have 2 size D markings...now you need the other size
I have 2 D carbines both with different D's.......RR
