Making Six series DAO hammers

Here's my first try at modifying Six Series hammers to make them DAO. Replacements are hard to find so I thought I'd see what I could do with a standard hammer.
I know, the pictures aren't the greatest, I need to get out the good camera.

Top are standard, below are the modded ones

Ron those look good. Did you saw the spur off then profile them on a grinder? I would take a DAO hammer and clamp it to a regular hammer then scribe a line on it with a carbide scribe. I have some very expensive Titanium Nitride coated Tungsten Carbide burrs that I use in my die grinder for shaping a lot of things. They work great and are very effective on most metals. I bet those would work perfect for what you are doing.

Carl,
I laid my DAO hammer on a regular hammer and marked it with a Sharpie. The used a cutoff wheel (actually 2, broke the first one, going to quickly) on my Dremel. Then profiled it on a 1 inch wide stationary belt sander and then did more work with different burrs/wheels on the Dremel.

It's also being discussed on the RF about the SA notch and other things. See you Thursday or Friday.
