bought this one with only 12 rds put thru it. can't bring myself to shoot it. BH 44mag #300## just too purty!

That's a great looking Super, simply a great revolver. Has it been safely converted? Looks like it doesn't have the Super wide spur hammer.

NEVER! no transfer bar. everytime i look at it i can't get over the blue job. finishes were great back when i was in high school. its a '67

It's funny how everyone has different preferences. I put the SBH hammer on all my Blackhawks, and you have a SBH with a Blackhawk hammer. Nice Super.

i tried an old super BH someone had sent back to ruger at the range and the trigger was horrible. general consensus was those that had done so regretted it and it lowered the value. i'm not a collector so i don't know. i just have happened to have picked a very few over the years. i have an OM vaquero in 45 colt and a new super BH in 45 colt and i had both given trigger jobs. they still don't come close to the actions of the old untouched ones. both have the transfer bars. but i grew up w/out seat belts and airbags too. rode bicycles and motorcycles w/out helmets.

Check the rollmark on the left side of the revolver. Does it say "RUGER BLACKHAWK" or "RUGER SUPER BLACKHAWK"?
I know of 30024 and 30080 that both say "RUGER BLACKHAWK", an error by Ruger because the employee pulled out an older rollmark from their shelf that was originally intended for the .44 Blackhawk, flattop models.
