. that I had many years ago , and had sold it to a friend locally before I knew Don W would have wanted it, anyway made it through to another friend Dave S, known as 'cherokee' on the forums, Dave passed away a few weeks ago and BKH-31 came home to roost last weekend, well he had our gunsmith friend Andy Horvath over here on Diagonal Rd. make up a smooth , non fluted cylinder in 32-20 for one of his guns, I had sold(traded off) and the cylinder fits like a glove, perfect,,,,soooo this early BKH-31 is now a convertible.....

Don't get much better than that...Merry Christmas :)

Danny, I miss meeting with D. W. too. We did many wood working projects together and often traded guns. He had his own method of construction and would not change! Brass Frame

Yes, and Don, as well as Dave S. ( cherokee) were about the only two guys I recall that liked, and shot, the 30 carbine Blackhawks.......... ;)

Keep them ALL in our thoughts..... :)

Contender doesn;t have to be concerned about them being a "pair", as I sold the prefix gun ( 1969) to a disabled Marine came home in 1969 so it is fitting....Bless his heart, and
Semper Fi......... 8-) ;)
and a Semper Paratus to my recently passed BIL USCG. Sandy A.........RIP
