Yes, all I can say is YES! Years ago, I had a Marlin 336, in .30-30 Winchester...I am waiting to see the "New" Marlin lever guns to start hitting the shelves. I want another Model 336, in the ole .30-30 again.

Looks like Ruger's serial numbering starts with "RM000", and of course they have a Mayodan barrel address.
The last of the Remington Marlins have MR serial numbers.
