Happy to see Ruger finally has new production Marlin levers in the pipe. The 1895 rifles seem very well received, many sellin above MSRP. The Trapper version is extremely nice! Cannot wait for the 336 and 1894 versions to show up. Hope they will also do a quality .22, all mine in SS please.

Been hounding Ruger and any one that will listen that we need a 327 Fed in a Ruger rifle. Seems the best chance now here with Marlin. Ruger has a lot of 327 expertise, a 336 stainless trapper version would be great

Those are my 2 favorite firearms mfgs. so a collaboration should make a great product. Lot of quality is in both.

The 1894 model in .44 and 357 mag would be great. Also, I would really really like to see a Model 62 Levermatic in .30 Carbine. My BlackHawks are lonely.

Better yet, Ruger could produce their own lever actions again and include the .30 carbine, and 357 mag calibers ;)

I agree 100% about the 327 Fed rifle - I'd like to see an M77/327.
The Marlin lever would have to be a tube loader - just too small to push through a gate imo. But nothing wrong with that.

Seems like the 336 action did not function well with short pistol cartridges. Perhaps why very few 44 Magnum 336’s were made. The platform for those would be the 1894 I would guess, also a fine design.

Personally, I would like a rifle like that in 450 marlin.
