Ruger Trade Show Table Covers

Post by T.A. Workman »

Looking for any info on these Ruger Trade Show Table Covers. I am thinking mid 1980's - 1990's ?
I know that an ROCS Member & Displayer of Chief AJ rifles, uses one in his beautiful displays.

Don't know much about them but, I have one along with the banner. I have used it on the Elmer Keith display at the gun shows.

Thanks Steve.
Seller emailed me last night and informed me that the table cover was one of two sold at a Ruger employee's estate sale.
I always keep an eye out for those banners, they look great in displays. At the 2019 OGCA /ROCS show a displayer had both
in his display.

The table covers were offered as a dealer aid in the early 1980's. Also offered (and a lot tougher to come by) was a red banner with gold fringe.
As I recall, they were fairly expensive at the time. Also heard that the leftovers that Ruger had that weren't sold were relegated to a fire barrel and destroyed.
