Ok, I’ll show my ignorance again... sincere question, what made this one special? Others keep cycling for around $1000. One just sold last week for $650. I’m confused. Was it all about condition or was there a feature I missed? Thanks in advance for the education!

My guesses.......
High quality pictures showed minimal wear, clean screw heads, & no marks on the grip frame or bluing.
Also a bidding war is good for the seller and the two folks who bid it up, one had no feedback & the other only 2.
Perhaps their first tri color?
Like I always say, something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

Cheers,

Love it! If there was magic to that one, one of these guys will tell us. Otherwise, I’ll take your theory!

And since they blocked out the serial number it is probably 200001.
Drives me nuts when they do that.

Seriously,
What is the fear with posting a serial # ??????
Any ideas?

This thread needs a picture. Plus I wanted to update you Chad on one you mentioned in the last RENE (Pg 3429). This is the one that you note “did not meet the minimum bid”. It did sell, to me. I called after and got her down a little bit. Beautiful gun, love the SN, very nice box with an unclear SN on it that starts with 20, a four choice manual and (half) warr card. I felt that this one was worth paying up for!

That's a great looking package, those boxed Tri-Colors are hard to find. You really did good on this one. Happy for you.
