Red Label question

Post by Ruger8r »

I'm looking at an early KRLS-1226 that has the caliber marked on the box as 12GA/SIC6. What does SIC6 indicate? Thanks all.

Good question, I have a 1999 KLRS--2029-BR that the box is marked 20GA/SIC26.

Thanks, seems like I knew that at one time. I write down a lot of notes and information as it comes to me (the nature of a collector). When I have my notes organized properly the information is a lot easier to find than to remember via my personal file cabinet between my ears.

Thanks zebra55.
So, these guns were shipped with a set of skeet and a set of improved chokes and no modifieds or fulls?

Pretty sure that BR gun has screw-ins. The stainless model 4122 I'm looking at has them, too.

I have an early red label with fixed chokes . the box says ss26 which is for the skeet / skeet 26" barrels.
so my guess would be for screw ins the SIC stands for Screw In Chokes / and barrel length...

Yes I believe we're getting somewhere, mine has screw in chokes that are not marked by manufacturer but I`m pretty sure they're Briley hence the BR in the model number.
