Is that something new? Or something they never put in production?

Donny,
This is the first GP100 I have seen in .41 Cal. Do you know when they were produced and how many were made. Or do you know if any others are available?
I WOULD LIKE TO ADD ONE TO MY COLLECTION ON .41'S

Someone from Ruger sent me this pic and asked me to post it. I believe they are trying to get a feel to see if it would sell.

That's interesting, .41 Special +P. I think it would be better in .41 Magnum and you could shoot either. 41 Mag or .41 Special. Kinda like .357 Mag and .38 Special.

That's VERY interesting, and absolutely I would have to have one even though I don't have any .41's at this time. Pass it on to whomever is asking Don, I think it would be a hit in 6, 5, 4.2 and 3 inch barrels.

Ron,
If Ruger comes out with one I bet you will see one if their distributors coming out with another. IMOP

That's the first time I've ever heard of a Ruger firearm chambered in .41 Special.
Definite prototype. Ruger's serial number lookup page show it as having left as a standard Ruger model 1708 in .357 Mag. in 2022.
