KITTERY 85TH 10/22

Post by radicalrod »

Well the wife took me on a vacation to Vermont to see the colors so we stopped and picked up Dana and Bobbi Jo and headed to Maine as I wanted to see the Kittery Trading Post in person.....Dana informs me they have 85th 10/22's on their website....only 85 made....well we ended up getting KTP 048 and KTP 049.....of course I got the low number    They are a walnut stock take down with the Kittery logo engraved into the stock.....I have a 50th, a 75th and now the 85th that I purchased in person at the Kittery Trading Post.....how exciting....

Also stopped at Rody's gun shop just down the road from Ruger in New Hampshire....all the guys hanging out in there on a rainy Saturday were ex Ruger employees that were happy to tell lots of Ruger stories.....no factory tours were offered....

I did get to take a factory tour at COLTS manufacturing plant in Hartford......it was an amazing place.....we had a wonderful time with great hosts.....I just missed RD 18 who was also on vacation in Nova Scotia.....maybe next time Russ....we will be back. RR

Radical,
Everyone needs to stop in at Kittery's TP at least once. Great snag on that consecutive set of rifles.

The New England states are Absolutely beautiful this time of year, glad to hear you had a great time.
IIRCC the last time that Mrs. Radical took you to New England on vacation you got whale snot all over you ! 8-) ;)
